The DIFC Innovation License is a commercial license with a highly subsidised fee structure (up to 90%), designed to support start-ups, early-stage ventures, and innovation-driven firms. Whether you're working in FinTech, AI, Web 3.0, Blockchain, GreenTech, EdTech, RegTech, or other emerging sectors, this license provides the flexibility and support you need to launch and scale your ideas.
1. Initial Consultation & Business Activity Selection - Identify the nature of your technology or innovation-based activity and confirm eligibility for the Innovation License.
2. Application Submission via DIFC Portal – We will submit an online application form with the business plan and activity details.
3. Document Preparation & Upload - Uploading the required documents, typically including:

5. Registration of office address – After paying for your office space and submitting the lease agreement, include the address (private office or flexi desk) in the final application.
6. Sign incorporation documents - Once approved, you will receive incorporation documents to sign digitally.
7. Make final payments - Pay the subsidised licence fee and the establishment card.
8. License Issuance - Upon payment and document verification, DIFC will issue your Innovation License and Certificate of Incorporation.
9. Visa & Establishment Card - If you have opted for visa packages, make the required visa payments, apply for your establishment card, and proceed with the UAE residency visa process.
